snow screaming, trees hugging, feet singing, clouds watching, lakes calling, and many more great personification examples. I hate to see our figurative language unit come to an end but I hope the students have learned and feel comfortable with the fact that they know how to identify and use the skill.
And one of my favorite comments overheard today was this: "I like doing things like this. It's imaginative!" (This made my day to hear this!)

It makes my heart smile! ;)
I hope you picked up on that personification I used there!
